The full–length cd will contain reinterpretations that solely used the sounds from the EP “Which Chemicals Caused Jesus Christ?”. The remixers were free to manipulate the sampled material in any way, external sound sources (synthesizer, microphone,...) were not in use.
This concept corresponds with the primary idea behind the WCCJC? remix project: to trace the original exclusivly based on its substance in terms of sound. This correspondance does not only motivate a search for acoustic traces but also brings the contributions together time and again despite of their wide stylistic spectrum.

The remixers were asked for textual comments regarding their own interpretations. These statements and sundry visual contributions will be accessible to the listener via an extensive booklet.
